* 1. Thank you for participating in my Smith for Senate 2010 Iowa Citizen Survey. Every citizen deserves to have their voice heard and this online survey is a way to do so. For those who support the traditional definition of marriage, the answer is to amend the Constitution to define it as between a man and a woman exclusively. What do you think? Should the Constitution be amended to establish the traditional definition of marriage or should we leave it the way it is?

* 12. The average pay of Iowa teachers is significantly below the national average. Groups representing teachers say the state needs to spend more to bring it up to the national average. Others say the state cannot afford to do this and teacher pay will need to remain where it is. What do you think?
