Youth Survey Auckland Social Policy Forum
1. About the Survey
This survey seeks your views on the Auckland Social Policy Forum, including what issues it should focus on. The Forum is being set up as part of moves to form one council for the whole of greater Auckland.
The aim of the Forum is to ensure central and local government work together to identify and address agreed priority social issues in Auckland.
Social policy is about local and national government guidelines and interventions related to people’s welfare. It includes health care, human services, criminal justice, inequality, education, and labour.
This survey will not identify you in any way and will only be used for feedback on the Auckland Social Policy Forum. The survey has been prepared by the Ministry of Youth Development.
The closing date for feedback via the youth survey is Friday 30 April 2010.
Youth feedback will be collated into a report that will be provided to the Ministry of Social Development Regional Policy – Auckland Office as part of the full document feedback process.
