This form initiates your application for a BRAiN Undergraduate Scholar award. Other materials (transcript, statements, interviews) are necessary to complete the application process.

We use this information to make recommendations for program placement and for reporting purposes to our funding agency, the NIH.
Please note, as per NIH policy, BRAiN can only support students who are a U.S. citizen, a non-citizen national, or a permanent resident. In addition, as per UCD policies, a background check may be required.
Award offers are contingent on a) submission of official documents proving you meet NIH and NMSU eligibility requirements (see above), and b) availability of funds from NIH.
