Dear resident

Please take a little time to complete this questionnaire. Your input to this questionnaire will be used to inform the Wyboston, Chawston & Colesden Sustainable Community Plan.

As you may already be aware Wyboston, Chawston & Colesden has been selected as a rural pilot area for the new Sustainable Community Plan approach in Bedford Borough. The pilot uses the Borough-wide Sustainable Community Strategy as a template for producing a local level plan in a format that is both useful to the community and which can easily feed up into Borough-wide strategies. The Plan for our parish will identify local aspirations, problems and opportunities in the context of the wider Sustainable Community Stratgey and its themes that cover the whole of Bedford Borough.The process is being led by a group of volunteers from the community and is supported by BRCC and endorsed by the Parish Council and Bedford Borough Partnership Board. We have already carried out a number of consultation events, including an open meeting, Planning for Real event and RAVE bus visit where we asked for your views on the future of the parish. This questionnaire has been based on the feedback we received. The results from the questionnaire will provide us with the information to put together an action plan.

Even if you hve contributed to the previous consultations, please do complete this questionnaire. The questionnaire has been distributed to every household in Wyboston, Chawston & Colesden but be assured the answers can not be attributed back to individual households. It has been designed to be completed by one person, however, you can complete it as a response from your whole household or individual members can also make their personal input online.
