The following are a few short questions designed to aid me in my research for my upcoming Society & Culture HSC Personal Interest Project, relating to the way in which young people have turned to the Internet as an avenue for social & political activism. Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire, it will help me tremendously in my research.

3. Have you ever been involved in activism over the Internet? This could include: participating in online discussions, signing petitions, organizing events, e-mailing government officials, etc.

6. Have you ever communicated online with others regarding political and/or social matters?

9. A recent Sydney Morning Herald article branded Internet activism as “lazy” activism (“Slactivism”), stating that it was incapable of producing any true or significant long-term change. What is your opinion on this insinuation?
