Nominations are now being accepted for the annual Toyota Environmental Youth Leadership Award. This award is designed to recognize the leading actions of Kentucky's youth that help to advance environmental education and sustainability efforts in schools and communities throughout the state.

Self-nominations or nominations on behalf of a school or group of students are accepted.

Eligibility: 4th- 12th grade- Private, Public and Home Schools

Nominations will be accepted through February 24, 2012. Award nominees will be notified by Mar 9, 2012.

Award includes a transportation reimbursement of up to $300 to offset the cost of a fieldtrip to Toyota's Environmental Education Center/ Nature Trail in Georgetown, Kentucky (Scott County).
