1. Introduction
Welcome to the Teslin Resident's Economic Development Survey
The Village of Teslin and the Teslin Tlingit Council are jointly sponsoring an economic development plan for Teslin. Part of the public consultation for the plan includes public opinion surveys of residents and businesses operating in the Teslin area. Completing the following resident survey will help Teslin identify strengths and weaknesses in the local economy as well as identify opportunities to encourage local economic development. Broad public participation is essential to creating a realistic and effective plan. The results of the survey will be used to develop specific action plans that build on the existing community strengths and to help determine the weaknesses that must be addressed.
This survey is part of a comprehensive research process. While there are five sections it should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Your participation in this study is voluntary. You may skip any question for any reason. All answers will remain confidential and results will only be published in an aggregate form. No identifying information will be attached to your survey responses.
