1. INTRODUCTION
The Village of Teslin and the Teslin Tlingit Council are jointly undertaking the development of an economic development strategy for Teslin. Businesses in the Teslin area are significant contributors to the local economy. They represent a major source of investment and local job creation. To design an effective economic development strategy requires a very good understanding of the local business environment. As part of the development of the economic strategy we ask for your participation in the following survey. Through this survey we hope to gain a better understanding of the collective capacity, needs, and strengths of local businesses, and to identify potential areas for economic growth.
This survey is part of a comprehensive research process. All answers will remain confidential and results will only be published in an aggregate form. While there are 6 sections to the questionnaire it should only take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
