TEEB for Business - report comments

 

The TEEB for Business report is open for comment. The full report can be downloaded from www.teebweb.org.

We welcome comments and contributions to help make the final TEEB for Business report better and more useful.

The TEEB study makes the case for integrating the economics of biodiversity and ecosystem services in decision-making. The TEEB for Business report provides more detail for the business community, illustrated with examples from a range of companies and sectors. It asks:
• What are the risks and opportunities to business of biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation?
• What is business currently doing about biodiversity and ecosystem services?
• What more could business do? and
• How can the business imperative to deliver profits be better aligned with the conservation and sustainable use of biological resources?

The rest of this survey includes four pages for detailed comments, two pages for general comments, one page for case study contributions and one page for other remarks.

Please submit your comments and all other contributions no later than 6 September 2010.

The TEEB editors will review all contributions received prior to completing the final edits for the print edition of the TEEB for Business report, which is expected to be published in 2011.
