What can be done to increase the number of people using the Pedestrian and Cycle tunnels connecting Jarrow and Howdon?

That’s the question the Tyne & Wear Integrated Transport Authority (TWITA) would like your help in answering.

Around 12,000 people use the tunnels every month. In the 50s and 60s they were used by that number every day.

In order to help develop options for improving and upgrading the tunnels, TWITA wants to hear your opinions and ideas for increasing the number of users.
