State law requires that in every city and town in Montana there must be a fire department (7-33-4101, Montana Code Annotated). Miles City Fire & Rescue has been providing fire protection for Miles City since 1899 and an ambulance service for Custer County residents since 1958. This questionnaire is designed to inform you of the roles and responsibilities of Miles City Fire & Rescue and to solicit your input regarding the performance of its duties while delivering the best possible value to Miles City.
