Feedlot producers,

The beef nutrition faculty at Iowa State University need your help! They want their research to impact your bottom line, and to do that they need to know more about your feeding programs. Please take this short sulfur survey - it will take less than 10 minutes of your time!

1. Which county and state is your feedlot operation located?

2. Approximately how many head of cattle do you finish annually?

3. What are the main feed ingredients that you use in your diets?

4. In the past year how often have you included ethanol co-products (dry, wet or modified distillers grains, condensed corn solubles, or syrup) in your cattle diets?

5. In the past five years what is the highest level (% of diet on dry matter basis) at which you have included ethanol co-products (dry, wet or modified distillers grains, condensed corn solubles, or syrup) in your diet (the sum of all ethanol co-products)?

6. Do you add supplemental thiamine to your diets?

7. If you answered yes to number six, at what level do you supplemental thiamine?

8. How often do you typically have your diet and/or feed ingredients tested for nutrient content (please check all that apply)?
