1. Introduction
ABOUT TCELA
The Tri-County Environmental Leadership Awards (TCELA) celebrate residents, businesses, governments, educational institutions and non-profit organizations in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties that have implemented exemplary environmentally sustainable practices.
ALL WELCOME
We are seeking a broad range of unique and innovative ideas, practices, and projects! Individuals and previous TCELA, WRAP, and Green Star applicants and/or winners are encouraged to apply! Please mention progress and achievements since first application. You may nominate yourself and/or your organization.
DEADLINE
Please apply online by March 22, 2013. (Paper applications are available, but online is preferred)
THE TCELA COMMITTEE
TCELA is coordinated by a committee of professionals working on environmental protection issues such as waste reduction, energy conservation, resource recovery, and sustainability. (see list below)
RECOGNITION AND AWARDS CEREMONY!
All Nominees will be invited to attend a special Earth Day Awards Ceremony in April. All nominees will be recognized and are invited to join us for lunch, door prizes, the awards ceremony, and a keynote speaker. Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.
