This is Karl Ramberg: he is a visual artist and musician who often creates works involving both disciplines. As a visual artist he creates rather free form expressions, think of visual jazz, but he also creates installations such as musical scores made of birch trees. He creates interdisciplinary works involving computers, cellos, guitars, keyboards, scientists, subatomic particles and other things.

This is Paul Hotvedt: he is a visual artist and musician but he usually keeps these two things separate. His visual art is representational, sometimes conceptual, specializing in landscape and portraiture, but he likes to talk about the ideas and the science behind them. His conceptual work is interdisciplinary and involves other people. As a musician he plays percussion, keyboard, guitar, and fiddle.
