1. Does the current smoking policy work for you?

 
Your Associated Student Government needs your help!

Many students have asked us about smoking on campus and we would like to hear from you. We understand that some people smoke and some don’t; we want to be fair to everyone. Our goal is to make sure that all student voices are heard. For your reference, the following are the current smoking policies:

1. From the CPTC Policies and Procedures Manual:

Smoking is permitted only in the outside areas designated for each building. Inside all buildings of the College have been designated as smoke free.

2. From the 2009-2010 Student Planner/Handbook:

Smoking or the use of any tobacco is permitted only in designated areas. Designated areas are: parking lots, open areas, personal autos, or posted smoking shelters. Smoking will not be permitted in any state owned building or within 25 feet of any building entryway.
