Volunteering in Wales: Your Experiences

What is this survey about?
We want to understand volunteering across Wales by listening to people from all backgrounds. We're interested in learning about different experiences and challenges, and how volunteering can work better for everyone.

This survey is for people who currently volunteer. It's your opportunity to share your experiences, what motivates you to volunteer, what's working well, and what could be improved.

Your answers will form part of Adferiad's latest research project, funded by Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA). This project explores who volunteers in Wales, who doesn't, and why, with a particular focus on inclusion and accessibility for people from Global Majority communities (people of African, Asian, indigenous, Latin American, or mixed-heritage background).

The findings will be used to create an Evidence & Action Guide to support more inclusive volunteering practice across Wales.

The survey takes approximately 6 minutes to complete.
Can I take part in the survey?
If you are over 18, living in Wales, and currently volunteering, we would love to hear from you.
What are the benefits of taking part in this survey?
  • Help shape more inclusive and diverse volunteering in Wales
  • Make your voice heard about volunteering
  • Reflect on your volunteering journey
