Shambhala

Another year of Shambhala has come and gone leaving some people of Nelson with divergent points of view about the annual music festival. Some people feel it is of extreme benefit to the economy from the donations that Shambhala has made to our community, such as funds for the Skatepark, Selkirk College and other community organizations. Others feel that it abuses our social services and people are concerned about the potential of safety and health hazards.
This week’s survey question is an effort to provide a forum for discussion, not to advocate for any peticular position.
