The Sandy Springs Survey Introduction

The goal of this survey is gain your insight into whether the types of development shown in this survey are appropriate within the different areas of the City Center study area in Sandy Springs.

A survey with a larger selection of images was conducted at an October 4, 2012 public meeting. This online survey is intended to enable people unable to attend that meeting to share their thoughts on the most appropriate look and feel for City Center.

The context map below shows the three geographic areas that this survey will assess: the Pedestrian Shopping Area, the Roswell Road Corridor, and the Surrounding Residential Areas. Each page of this survey will begin with a context map that describes the specific area in question.

HOW WILL THE SURVEY RESULTS BE USED?
Survey results will be used to inform recommendations on updated development regulations for City Center. The intent of the recommendations is to ensure high-quality development consistent with the goals of the City Center Master Plan, and to provide a straightforward, efficient process for development project review and approval that is understood by project sponsors, neighbors, other stakeholders, the broader Sandy Springs community, city leadership and city staff.

A “+5” means an image is extremely appropriate, and you would like to see something similar built in the context area. A “-5” means an image is completely inappropriate. A "0" is neutral.
