1. 2010-2011 PSS Board Nominations

 
The 2010-2011 elections for the PSS Board will be held electronically in March 2010. We are looking for any and all nominations for any of the board positions. We're always open to adding positions to the board as well.

If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for any of the following positions, please do so by filling out this brief survey. If you have multiple nominations for a single position (other than member at large), please complete two surveys.

*All nominations are due no later than Friday, February 5th so that we can prepare the ballots.

**The PSS Treasurer position runs for two years because of the nature of the role with budgets and finances so nominations are not being taken for that position.

2. PSS President Nomations:
Duties: Runs the PSS meetings, is the official representative to the district, represents the PSS, speak on behalf of the PSS and support all the volunteers. Regular tasks include creating & communicating meeting agendas, meeting with chairs and BFPS staff for activities and events, planning and attending Board meetings. The president is a member of all committees, so can attend any or all meetings as seems helpful. The President oversees the overall PSS calendar and adherence to bylaws & procedures.

3. PSS President-Elect Nomations:
Duties: Assists the President with all duties for the year. This person is being elected to the board for 2 years as they will become President for the 2011-2012 school year.

4. PSS Secretary Nomations:
Duties: Takes minutes, presents prior month's minutes for approval, records attendance, and maintains the records of at all PSS and Executive Board meetings. Assists PSS President throughout the year in writing correspondence such as thank-you notes and projects.

5. PSS Volunteer Coordinator Nominations:
Duties: Coordinates volunteer sign-ups in the fall, collates and distributes information to board and committee chairs, chairs the Vision Screening and School Picture days, maintains communication with the volunteers throughout the year.

6. PSS Community Events Director Nominations:
Duties: Coordinate community events, including, but not limited to, Kiwanis Fun Run, Fun in the Park and Wilsonville Parade. This person also coordinates community fundraising opportunities.

7. PSS Marketing Coordinator Nominations:
Duties: - Coordinates all marketing for PSS, including, but not limited to, website, Facebook page, "The Buzz" pages in the Dragonflier on a bi-weekly basis, signage and fliers that go home via mail/backpack.

8. PSS Board Member at Large Nominations:
Duties/Qualifications: This role is filled by a person/people who currently hold an acitivity chair position. Anyone wishing to be a member at large for the 2010-2011 school year, but commit to an activty chair position. Multiple people can be elected to the board in this capacity. The current slot is being held by the Art Literacy Chair.
