MS Trust: What information do people want about their medicines?

About this survey

What information about our medicines do we need if we are going to make informed decisions about our medicine taking?

There is surprisingly little consensus on this very important question. But what we do know is that having high quality, relevant and useful information is crucial in helping us make these important decisions.

In order to answer this key question, MS Trust and other organisations in the voluntary sector are working with the not-for-profit company Datapharm (www.medguides.medicines.org.uk), a leading provider of online information about medicines in the UK, on this online questionnaire. All of us want to make sure that the information we publish is the information you need. We can’t talk to everyone who uses medicines, so we are working together on a project to find out what people really want to know about their medicines.

The results of this survey will be collated and discussed at a special Learning Event for organisations working in the voluntary health sector. What you tell us will help all of us understand what information is most useful and helpful to you and will help us to improve the services we offer.

We estimate that the questionnaire will take about 15 minutes to complete. This research questionnaire will be used in the Learning Event, and all responses will be treated in confidence. None of your personal details will be shared with any third parties.

We are very grateful for your help. You will find contact details for Datapharm at the end of this survey. Key findings from this survey will be posted on www.medicines.org.uk from the 16th December 2009.

Thank you for participating in this survey.
