Parents’ Priorities for our Service

We want to provide a service that matches your needs. There are certain things that parent partnership services must do, such as providing impartial advice and information, and training for parents on SEN issues. However, there are all kinds of different ways to cover these! This is your opportunity to tell us what your priorities are out of our current service activities.

Family fun/activity days eg at Stonebridge City Farm
Supporting groups for parents at schools or outside of schools
Attending school open evenings, where prospective parents visit the school
Attending school parents’ evenings
Training for school and LA staff
Staff participation in strategic work around planning and developing services for families eg being a member of a project steering group
Opportunities and support for parents to sit on strategic groups
Marketing/publicity – publicising the service more widely eg via our website, attending publicity events in local centres
Developing and maintaining links with the Voluntary Sector
Seeking and acting upon feedback from parents
