Male dog & cat sterilization

1. Spay/neuter & TNR providers- welcome!

Warning: This survey requires a little reading! We hope you’ll find it interesting and thought-provoking. Thank you for sharing your opinions with us. They will play a big part in deciding our funding choices.

We are Parsemus Foundation, a small foundation committed to innovative and/or neglected medical research, with a focus on animal sterilants, contraceptive development, and breast cancer. We coordinate our work with the other organizations in the field, and Parsemus Foundation's director is also on the scientific advisory board of the Alliance for Contraception in Cats & Dogs (although this survey is from Parsemus Foundation and doesn't represent the ACC&D).

The first 100 detailed, helpful replies from spay/neuter or TNR nonprofits will have their organization entered in a drawing for a $1,000 unrestricted contribution. [Update: Congratulations to WAIF (Whidbey Animals Improvement Foundation), Whidbey Island, Washington on winning the drawing-- but the survey is still open for your opinions.]

1. For our eyes only (and no spam or mailing lists): What is your name, role, and affiliation? E-mail too optional (just makes it easier to contact you if you win the drawing).

For example:
- Karen Brown, vet tech, Green County Animal Control, Smalltown, Ohio
- Suzy Kew, founder, Save the Cats, Los Angeles, CA, suzykew@stcla.org
- Rafael Mendoza, consulting veterinarian, Animal Welfare League, Manila, Philippines, R.Mendozavet@yahoo.com

2. If we share this input with other policymakers (for example the large foundation funding nonsurgical sterilization research, or the Alliance for Contraception in Cats & Dogs), can we use your name, or should we refer to you in general terms? (For example, in general terms the above people would be “Vet tech, county animal control, Ohio,” “founder, urban feral cat organization, California,” or “consulting veterinarian, animal welfare organization, Philippines.”)

3. Does your organization primarily work with cats, dogs, or both?

4. Where did you hear about this survey?
