1. Introduction to the Local Grower Survey
The goal of the Pine and Lake Country local foods program is to strengthen a sustainable local food system by connecting local growers with regional grocers, hospitals, schools, restaurants and other entities through a supportive and collaborative approach.
The purpose of this survey is to identify existing and potential growers in our region, Central Minnesota, and to find producer needs and interests. Once these regional needs are identified, the best ways to meet these needs, promote a sustainable local food system, and increase the market for local food can be developed. You may have received other local food-related surveys, but a regional approach is one of the most effective means of addressing the issue of local markets.
Please answer the following questions. Feel free to forward this survey to anyone who may be interested.
