Welcome to the SLIC annual survey on the Scottish FE library landscape.
The purpose of this survey is to gather information on trends and developments influencing service delivery to help library managers’ planning activities.
The generalised findings from this survey will be written up in an annual review and delivered in a presentation to the FE Conference in November.
All inputs by colleges will remain confidential and be anonymised at the analysis stage with only aggregate information for the sector published.
All colleges can request their data as a report for use in their own benchmarking practices.
The survey should take less than 20 minutes to complete.
This year we will be generating some key performance indicators from the survey which will allow you to benchmark your service against the best in the sector. Your anonymity is guaranteed, but we hope this will be a valuable tool for you to demonstrate the value of your service and/or to argue for additional resources. You need to participate in the survey to benefit from this data.
