SEMCOG Regional Nonmotorized Plan
The Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG) and Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) are in the process of developing a Regional Nonmotorized (Bicycle & Pedestrian) Plan. It includes an inventory of existing and developing bicycle facilities and will address gaps within the network.
To be effective, this plan requires your time and assistance in the form of public surveys and public outreach meetings (charrettes).
This survey will primarily focus on bicycling and is divided into four independent sections. We recognize your time is valuable, so if you prefer to only partially complete the survey, please focus on sections 1 and 2. Our charettes will help us supplement sections 3 and 4.
1. Section I is essential for ensuring the planned bicycle system meets the needs of all users. It should take 5 minutes to complete.
2. Section II provides details on how you currently use the system and your satisfaction with it. It should take 4 minutes to complete.
3. Section III provides insight on how we can improve the system. It should take 6 minutes to complete.
4. Section IV gives you the opportunity to share additional information with us and will take approximately 5 minutes.
You may go back and change an answer any time before you exit the survey.
Please feel free to share the link to this survey with anyone that you think would be interested.
SEMCOG and MDOT thank you for helping shape the future of regional nonmotorized planning.
