Lampitt Medal Nomination Form

 
The Lampitt Medal provides a means by which the Society can honour Members who have taken inspiration from Leslie Lampitt's example, offering their own extraordinary gifts of time, leadership, vision and enthusiasm to the Society.

The Lampitt Medal is awarded to SCI members who have contributed outstandingly to the work of the Society in more than one area of the it's activities. The length of service(particuarly on the Board and major committes), the office held and leadership in the development of initiatives will all be taken into consideration.

Who Can Nominate?

Any member of SCI or its staff may make a nomination by completing a nomination form and sending it to the Member Services Department. Members of the Board, major committees and Groups are particularly invited to do so.

Decision Process:

MAC will consider the nominations and make recommendations to BoT, for ratification. Normally, a maximum of one Lampitt Medal will be awarded in any one year.

Nominations can be submitted at any time during the year but will only be considered once a year.

The decision is final.

The Board reserves the right not to make an award if there are no suitable candidates.

Conferment:

A medal and certificate will be presented signed by the Executive Director and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
