OPASTCO’s 49th Annual Summer Convention & Tradeshow
"New Directions: An Industry at a Crossroads"
July 14-18, 2012
Minneapolis, MN

The OPASTCO Education Committee invites you to submit speaking proposals for the 49th Annual Summer Convention, July 2012, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The theme of this year's event is "New Directions: An Industry at a Crossroads." It is the intent of the program committee that there are ample professional development opportunities for the diverse group of conference participants attending this meeting. The Education Committee requests that the following guidelines be adhered to:

• No more than 2 proposals from a company will be considered;
• Proposals that serve as obvious product/company promotional opportunities will be disqualified;
• Preference will be given to proposals that include presentation strategies that provide an interactive learning experience, rather than simple lectures;
• Each proposal must include all requested information;
• NOTE: OPASTCO will look to fill speaking vacancies with OPASTCO member companies. In the event a specific need or vacancy cannot be filled within the OPASTCO membership, OPASTCO, at its discretion, will seek to fill the void outside of the membership base. Please keep this in mind when submitting proposals and/or populating panels;
• PROPOSALS MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE

**Speakers who plan to attend any other convention events other than the session they are participating in will be required to register.**

Proposals are read as part of a juried process by the Education Committee. Applicants will be notified of the status of their proposal by early-April. Please note that proposals that serve as obvious product/company promotional opportunities will be disqualified.


Please submit all proposals by February 24, 2012.
