Superfast broadband brings many benefits. We are working to improve broadband for Shropshire communities and businesses. Shropshire Council and Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) have committed £16.4 million to help make this happen.
The more demand that is registered locally for superfast broadband, the more likely that private sector investors will be encouraged to make public funding stretch as far as possible and offer more choice to local people. That is why we are asking you to register your interest. By supporting the project and demonstrating with other communities and businesses in Shropshire that broadband is important, we will be able to prove that it is viable.
