Performance of the Accounting Standards Board

Part of the Accounting Standards Oversight Council’s (AcSOC) mandate is to evaluate the Accounting Standards Board’s (AcSB) performance and publicly report its findings. To aid in the evaluation process, the AcSOC is seeking input from the AcSB’s private enterprise stakeholders through a perception survey.

This survey is intended to cover respondents’ perception of the AcSB’s recent performance related to standard setting for private enterprises and, more specifically, its activities related to developing a financial reporting model for private enterprises.

The information you provide will assist the AcSOC in carrying out its principal function of ensuring that the AcSB serves the public interest.

The AcSOC is doing separate surveys to evaluate the AcSB’s performance regarding publicly accountable enterprises and not-for-profit organizations.
