I understand that in order to be considered for Founding Member Status (FMS), and possibly bypass the lottery, I must give at least 150 volunteer hours before the opening of the school and an additional 20 hours during the move-in phase in the summer/fall 2010 or "equivalent contribution" excluding financial assistance to the development of the school as determined by the Board of Trustees. As stated in the Weilenmann School of Discovery Charter, Founder Members' students may not exceed 20% of the student population(including students of faculty and staff)

. If I am selected off the Waitlist and I accept, I agree to:
- Make a concerted effort to attend committee meetings.
- Fulfill duties assigned to me professionally and in a timely manner, and
- Be responsible for reporting my own hours to the committee head or assigned Board Member

. If I am selected off the waitlist and I accept, I understand that if I do not fulfill these requirements, I can be denied FMS. I understand that FMS can also be denied if it is determined by the Committee Head or assigned Board Member that I am not making sufficient progress towards the required hours or reasonable efforts to assist my committee.

If I am selected off the waitlist and if I accept.. and if I fulfill these requirements, the children for whom I am a legal guardian, may be granted priority enrollment status into the school for perpetuity. If I am denied FMS, my children will be placed in the admittance lottery of the school, or at the end of the enrollment wait list if the lottery has already taken place
