A group of arts leaders in West Central Minnesota are planning a new gathering for artists, arts and culture organizations and enthusiastic supporters of arts and culture in the Upper Midwest on Wednesday, June 8 through Saturday, June 11 in Fergus Fall, Minnesota. The name for this gathering is "Rural Arts & Culture Summit 2011 -- Building Cultural Capital by Connecting Rural Arts, Culture and Heritage through Education, Exchange, Critical Dialogue and Celebration."

The purpose of the gathering is to provide a variety of opportunities for people to come together and network, participate in learning experiences, and immerse themselves in the arts. Please take a moment to provide us feedback on what you would value in such a gathering. Thank you in advance for your thoughts as we plan this first-ever Rural Arts Summit!
