The National Park Authority’s work is guided by two statutory purposes: conservation and promoting opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the Park’s special qualities. We also have an important duty to seek to foster the economic and social well-being of local communities whilst pursuing the two purposes.

The last time we carried out the Residents’ Survey was in 2008 and we’d again like feedback on how we deliver our services to you. We’d also like your thoughts on the Annual Report which is posted to residents each year and about developing a new community forum.

It summarises key highlights from the Authority's work in the previous year, how we have performed against our headline targets, how we have spent our money and finally, what is planned for the future.
