Thank you for taking the time to apply to be a part of the 2011 ING New York City Marathon Foot Locker Five Borough Challenge team!

This year, the Foot Locker Five Borough Challenge Team will consist of five people--one from each borough of New York City--who have drawn inspiration from running in order to face a significant challenge in their life. So tell us your personal story. Examples of challenges can include training for your first marathon, running for a charity, overcoming an illness, or coping with the 9/11 tragedy. We are open to any/all stories of personal triumph.

The Challenge Team members will run the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 6th.

Please complete the application and submit it on or before the deadline of July 11, 2011. In the application, the questions with the asterisk(*) are required. Your answers to all questions will help us in evaluating your application and selecting the team. We will contact you if we need further information.

We will choose one Challenge Team member to represent each borough: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island. We will announce the team in August on the Foot Locker Five Borough Challenge Facebook Page: <<http://www.facebook.com/ingnycm#!/FootLockerFiveBoroughChallenge>>.
