TECH CORPS Application to Participate

Each spring/summer TECH CORPS invites schools and youth-serving nonprofit organizations to "apply to participate" in its programs. Partners identify the TECH CORPS programs they are interested in implementing during the upcoming school year.
TECH CORPS seeks corporate and foundation sponsors to underwrite programs in communities where their employees live, and/or in areas important to their corporate marketing efforts. TECH CORPS also works directly with districts, schools and organizations to identify other means for funding their programs. After sponsorship is secured, TECH CORPS staff will work with sites to customize the TECH CORPS program for successful implementation.
Techie Club: At the beginning of the academic year, TECH CORPS will conduct a Training Session for the school team. During this session, TECH CORPS staff will present an in-depth overview on the TECH CORPS program, including how to: recruit and select students, deliver the curriculum to students, customize the program to meet individual school's needs, use all TECH CORPS templates and marketing materials, and a process for providing evaluation data.
TECH CORPS will continue to support the Teams in the schools throughout the program. TECH CORPS will determine Teams' progress, address challenges, and share information and appropriate resources as needed.
