1. Introduction

Building off the success of the district's current environmental magnet school and looking at ways to offer more choices for parents, the district is exploring a variety of educational programs and offerings. One of those options is to create additional magnet schools.

WHAT IS A MAGNET SCHOOL? Magnet schools are public, tuition-free schools that allow students to delve deeper into specific areas of study while still receiving a solid, well-rounded education in all subjects.
