Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. 2010 Career Survey

 

The Far Western Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority will host its 81st Regional Conference at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California, April 14 -18, 2010.

Our conference theme is ESP: Technology for our Sisterhood 2010 and Beyond. Merging this theme into the conference, the Regional Conference Planning Committee will be introducing it first career fair. As such, the title of this pre-conference career fair is “Employment Strategy Perspectives – “A strategy for seeking employment in today’s market.” We would also like to acknowledge Golden Gate University for their consultative efforts in making this event successfully distinct. Since 1901, Golden Gate offers quality educational programs designed to meet the needs of working adults, with undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates in accounting, business, taxation, technology and law.

In preparation for the 2010 conference, we would like your input so that elements of the day meet the needs of the attendees. Potential attendees of the career day are all financial members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, all Greek groups that are members of the Pan-Hellenic Council, and other professional organizations.
