The Senior Housing Officer (SHO) Institute provides an opportunity for current and aspiring Senior Housing Officers to network with one another, learn from several outstanding faculty and to receive focused professional development for mid-level and senior level professionals.

The SHO Institute will be held prior to the 2010 AIMHO Conference at Coeur d'Alene Rresort in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho hosted by University of Idaho from Friday, November 12, to Sunday, November 14. The registration fee is $100 ($120 for non-AIMHO members) for those who apply and pay by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, October 15, 2010. Should spaces remain available, the registration fee will increase to $120 ($140 for non-AIMHO members) after that deadline.

You will be asked to answer the following to essay questions. We ask that you limit your responses for each to 500 words:

1. What motivates you to apply for the Senior Housing Officer Institute and what do you hope to gain?
