It's time to Build the Women Build 2012 House!
It is time to start building the Women Build 2012 house for our partner family! Thank you for volunteering your time to help Habitat and Women Build provide a safe, decent and affordable house for Carolyn and her family.
Please sign-up for the volunteer shifts you want to participate in below. This schedule is for JUNE. July dates will be posted shortly. You will be emailed reminders and more information about the proper attire for the worksite. If you have not returned a volunteer waiver form to the Habitat office yet, please do so or bring a signed waiver to the build site on the day of your shift.
The build site is located at 127 Brooks Alley, near Franklin Street and 11th Street.

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County Tennessee has built new home construction in partnership with 78 qualified low-income families and over 190 children since 1992.
Homeownership builds stable families, family wealth and futures. Working side by side with families achieving their sweat equity, you'll truly see what 'down payment' really means.
Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that encourages women to make a difference by building homes and communities. The program seeks to encourage women volunteers to further the home-building mission of Habitat for Humanity. Since Women Build’s official creation in 1998, Women Build volunteers have constructed more than 1,600 homes around the world. In 2009, volunteers helped build an additional 252 Women Build houses.
Women Build volunteers are asked to make a donation to the fundraising effort to cover material, labor, and administrative costs invested into this home build event. We suggest a $20 donation to ensure this home is simple, decent, and affordable for our homeowners.
All donors will receive a Women Build t-shirt and an Habitat-Lowe's apron for the build site.
