Cutting through the politics and journalistic spin, the QES uses statistical information to reveal the hard facts about what is happening to businesses in the real world.

Last quarter, the QES found that:
- 59% of businesses think profitability will improve
- The major concerns for business are competition,inflation and corporate taxation
Is your business as optimistic about future profitability? Can you relate to these concerns?
The QES feeds into the British Chambers of Commerce national survey which is the largest and most representative independent business survey of its kind in the UK, and is closely watched by policy makers such as the Treasury and the Bank of England, as well as the national media.
