2010 KBA Diversity Membership Survey

The mission of the Kansas Bar Association's Diversity Committee is to support the KBA's efforts to increase diversity within the Kansas legal profession, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that the demographics of the legal profession mirror those of the general population by the year 2020. Currently, there are no records available with definitive data on the current percentage of attorneys in the state of Kansas who are members of minority groups due to race, disability, or sexual orientation. The purpose of this survey is two-fold:

1. To obtain information about members of the Kansas Bar Association who are members of minority groups due to race, disability, or sexual orientation; and

2. To better determine what kinds of services and support are needed.
