The Quality Community Initiative (QCI), a stakeholder group formed by the Commerce City Council in November of 2011, includes diverse representation of the Commerce City residents, business owners, non-profits, developers, land owners, utilities and other stakeholders.The purpose of the Quality Community Initiative (QCI) stakeholder group is to form a clear concept of long-term needs in Commerce City through interactions with the community and city council. After a dozen community meetings and resident survey data, QCI made final recommendations to council in January with one of the top priorities being the expansion of park and recreation facilities. Now, City Council needs your input on what is needed and where these facilities should go.
