Howdy!
Thank you for your interest in the California Wilderness Round-Up 2011, the seventh annual retreat for conservation staff, activists and volunteers.
The festivities begin at Sierra Club's Harwood Lodge in the San Gabriel Mountains near Los Angeles on the evening of Friday, September 9. Check-in begins at 6:00 PM and we'll close early afternoon on Sunday, September 11. Click here for more information about Harwood Lodge: http://angeles.sierraclub.org/lodges/harwoodlodge.html
The weekend will include hikes through the beautiful lands of the Angeles National Forest, tours of proposed wilderness areas, opportunities to network with wilderness advocates from around the state, and, of course, a non-stop celebration of all of our important conservation work around California.
This year's round up will be $40 per person which will be collected when you arrive. This covers all of your meals and lodging fees. You can pay with cash or make checks out to Friends of the River.
More details like driving directions and a packing list, will be sent to you once you have registered.
We look forward to seeing you!
