1. Neighborhood Network and Yearly Registration

Citizens can shape the future of our neighborhoods, and our city. Neighborhood organizations are the key points in that process. A working neighborhood organization includes neighbors that know each other and watch out for each other, that work together to solve issues, and that act as a combined voice to access resources and obtain help.

You don't have to do it alone. Neighborhood Network wants to help groups become as successful as possible. Neighborhood Network is a private organization funded by City of Rockford Human Services Department, Community Services Block Grant - ARRA, and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

Together we can learn about your neighborhood, identify problems and solutions, develop a shared vision, identify resources, and develop the strategies and partners to make it all happen.

This form is to register Neighborhood Organizations. Completion of the form is voluntary; however, organizations must be Registered Neighborhood Organizations (RNO's) to receive services from Neighborhood Network. Services can include: inclusion in the Neighborhood Network database, inclusion in the neighborhood map, assistance with services, resources and information, free or reduced fees for technical assistance, trainings and workshops, and information on area resources.

We will not share any information that you want kept confidential, and there is a place in the survey to indicate what information can be shared with the public, i.e. on the Neighborhood Network website.
