Each year we publish a series of 'spotlights' — collections of articles — providing facts and figures, informed opinions, features and background reading on hot topics at the interface between science and development. In the past year, for example, we have covered a wide range of issues including Nanotechnology for clean water, Climate change and insect-borne disease, The challenge of improving nutrition and, most recently, Solar power for the poor.

Now we would like your views on what topics we should focus on for the coming year, and how we can ensure the spotlights meet your interests and needs.
