1. Overview
Jie Zhang, president of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, will present a talk on the new philosophy of Chinese higher education as part of his visit to the University of Rochester to receive a doctor of science degree. Shanghai Jiao Tong University is one of the premier Chinese institutions of higher education and President Zhang is internationally recognized for his visionary leadership in education.
