. We are having a Times-Picayune reunion on Friday, 9/28 RockNBowl for newspaper employees, contractors or alums. It will be from 4-7 PM (the window Johnny Blancher could accommodate us, but people can stay longer) and will cost $20 per person for food & open bar. (Significant others are welcome, but are $20 per person.)
If you are a Times-Picayune employee, contractor or alum, do you plan to attend the 9/28 RockNBowl event? (Please NOTE that this is NOT an official RSVP.)

. We need to set the cost of attending "Black, White & Read All Over." We had initially planned to charge $50 per person, to try to maximize what we collect for laid-off employees, while still trying to make the evening affordable. (We only have the option of a cash bar, so the admission price will cover food and entertainment, but not drinks.) Times-Picayune employees & contractors who are losing their jobs will have the option of attending free of charge, along with their significant others.
What do you think of a $50 General Admission ticket price?

. We're finalizing how money will be allocated to people who apply for help from the fund. We will offer assistance to full-time and part-time employees, freelancers and newspaper delivery people. Freelancers and newspaper delivery people are classified as contractors and are not eligible for severance or state unemployment benefits, but many of them also have other jobs or clients.
Do you think dashTHIRTYdash should offer freelancers and newspaper delivery people more, the same, or less assistance than it provides full-time employees?
