2035 Committed Projects

During the 2035 Plan Update 2011 process, we have identified a list of 19 Committed projects totaling $486 million. These projects are either funded, or there is partial funding plus a serious commitment to move them forward. Please note they are NOT listed in priority order – the numbers are just identifiers.

We would like your input on these projects (for example, regional importance or any concerns about the project).

C-1 Build Wales Rd. rail grade separation (overpass) - $14M (partially funded)

C-2 Build ITS freeway management / travel info system - $10.8M

C-3 Build McCord Rd. rail grade separation (underpass) - $29.3M (partially funded)

C-4 Upgrade Buck Rd./Lime City Rd. intersection area, with roundabout & turn lanes - $3.5M (partially funded)

C-5 Sylvania Ave., widen from McCord Rd. to Oak Park Dr. - $3.1M

C-6 Construct I-75/I-475 systems interchange Phase 2 and related improvements to local arterials including Cherry St. and Phillips Ave. - $188.7M

C-7 I-75, widen to 6 lanes from Phillips Ave. to I-280 - $44.6M (partially funded)

C-8 I-75, widen to 6 lanes, Washington St. to SR 25/Anthony Wayne Trail - $90.2M

C-9 Replace TARTA bus fleets (2 cycles of replacement) - $86

C-12 Build Riverside Trail-Phase 2 from Craig Bridge to Point Place - $0.5M

C-13 Complete Sylvania-Metamora Rd. (Erie St.) bike path west of Centennial Park, and bike lanes south on Kilburn Rd. to Central Ave. - $1.0M

C-14 Widen Stearns Rd., US 23 to SR 199, to three lanes - $3.1M

C-15 Convert US 24 through Waterville to local street; widen to 3 lanes, add bike/ped path - $2.5M

C-16 Waterville-Monclova at Dutch Rd., two roundabouts - $1.8M

C-17 Brint & King Rd. roundabout - $1.3

C-18 SR 64 & Finzel Rd. intersection alignment (roundabout) - $1.8M

C-19 King Rd. alignment at Dorr St. intersection improvement - $2.2M
