Please join us for the Launch of the Early Years Community Development Institute (EYCDI) website and learning strategy!
The purpose of the EYCDI is to link existing early years community development professionals through opportunities for learning, resource sharing and peer mentorship.
The EYCDI provincial working group has been working over the summer to develop an online platform for the institute and we are very excited to be launching the site this fall.
When: Thursday, October 27th
THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:
1. In person at UBC. (This will follow the morning HELP session on Putting Research in to Action in Your Community)
TIME: Noon to 3:30 (Lunch provided)
1:15 to 2:30 – Provincial Webinar with presentations on:
• The Background and Purpose of EYCDI
• Introduction to the New Website
• An overview of the planned Learning Strategy
• Introduction to building networks to support your work
2:30 to 3:30 – Questions and Dialogue
2. By Webinar from your community 1:15 to 2:30
• Organize your own local dialogue group to follow.
