The Radical Hateloss CrossFit Discussion Series Survey

In 2012 I am planning on hosting a Radical Hateloss Discussion Series. This discussion series will consist of free teleconferences on subject matter important to CrossFitting women- that also relates to the message of Radical Hateloss. These will not be classes lead by me but rather discussions I will help faciliate. I am very passionate about the positive way CrossFit effects many women and know there is great value in these discussions. Intuitive eating & The CrossFit Diets (i.e Can you follow the paleo diet or zone and still eat intuitively? How do you find joy and ease in eating when you choose not eat specific foods?)

Form Follows Function (i.e. What does this really mean? How has this idea changed your perspective on your body? What happened when the form that follows function isn’t good enough for you?)

The Scale (i.e. What about muscle weighing more than fat? How has the relationship you have with the scale changed? How does it serve you? How does it not serve you?)

CrossFit Workouts beyond the physical (i.e. How has your CrossFit workouts trained you for life beyond the physical? Do you cultivate a mental or spiritual practice with your workouts? What are some ways you can better use the workouts to be better at life?)

A New Way of Relating to your body (i.e.How has CrossFit changed the relationship with your body? What beliefs do you now have that you didn’t have before? How has what you value changed? How has this impacted you outside of the gym?)

The numbers game (ieEven if you don’t worry about the numbers on the scale, how do you feel about the numbers on the barbell or the scores posted for the metcon? Can these numbers be another way to feel not good enough? How do we keep numbers just numbers- without tying them to our worth?)

Accepting today- while setting goals for tomorrow (i.e.How do we be accepting of what we look like and what our current abilities are and yet still have goals for ourselves? Can you be in the moment, and strive for something more? How does non-acceptance of what it, get in the way of meeting goals and what does acceptance offer us in terms of opening possibilities.)
