Homo Competens Survey

I need your help.
Would you give me 4.7 minutes of your time to answer one small and one big question? I need your insights to help me out with my book 'Homo Competens - Let's talk about competent people in the network age'.

It's really appreciated!
Bert

1. The small question.

We live in fast moving times. Also what you learn at university or on a specific product or technology will not last an entire career anymore.

What is the average shelf life of a competence these days? Enter a number of months that a competence will remain valuable if no action is taken to update it meanwhile.

2. The big question.

How strong are these proofs of competence? Suppose you need to hire someone that is competent in domain X. You are not looking for top class, but someone generally competent that can do the job as expected. Rate the following evidences of competence. 0 means that piece of evidence has no value to you. 100 means that piece of evidence alone is sufficient and you will hire the person.
